You can enjoy online video, music and more
on your TV with Chromecast! In this video, we’ll show you how to set up
your Chromecast with your Android or iOS device. First, connect your device.
Connect your Chromecast to the power cable. Then plug your Chromecast into an open HDMI
port on your TV. If it doesn’t fit, you can use the HDMI extender included in the
box. Connect the Chromecast to a power supply.
You can connect it to a power outlet with the power cable and power supply, or plug
it into a powered-USB port on your TV. Switch your TV to the correct HDMI input.
Use the Input or Source button on your TV’s remote control to change the input until you
see the Chromecast home screen. Now connect your Chromecast to your home Wi-Fi
network. Make sure to have your network name and password
handy. You can setup your Chromecast using either
an Android phone or tablet, iPhone, iPad, Windows or Mac laptop, or Chromebook.

To get started, visit chromecast.com/setup from the browser on your Android or iOS device.
Click the link to download the Chromecast app from the Google Play Store or App Store
. Install and open the Chromecast app
If you’re setting up your Chromecast with an iOS device, go to your WiFi settings
and select your Chromecast. Look for the same device name you see on your TV screen.
After you’re done, reopen your Chromecast app.
Select your Chromecast And follow the setup instructions
Select your country. You’ll see a code on your TV screen.
You’ll also see a code on your phone or tablet. If the code on your phone or tablet matches
the one on your TV screen, select “I see the code”
Give your Chromecast a name Finally, select your ‘Wi-Fi network’ and type
