Jeff can u please make another bodyweight workout to burn fat I'm talkiing like something tough ( u should make a new challenge ) and thanks all your workouts have help me so much
okay i lll try because im 18 and just start 2 months ago im doing different variety of exercise but only cuts are showing no muscle gains thats what i think .. also if you wont mind to tell me good exercise for just simple abs which can be maintain
The million dollar question. What do you recommend when working through a shoulder injury? I love push ups but it's a challenge when the shoulder hurts.
Maybe You have to build More muscle around the shoulder so it can be stronger.. when i dislocated my shoulder i lost alot of strength but once you build it up youll be good again
What do u guys recommend ax1 or ax2? I'm for gaining muscle because I'm not really fat but it said on the website that the ax2 is extreme so I'm kinda worried I might overtrain and not make gains. And I'm only 15 I don't want to overtraining my body to. Thanks
they will both do nothing for you if you don't have solid nutrition and solid understanding of nutrition. Knowledge and intensity are the best fat burners
well, I have been training for the last three months straight and yet I have not seen any change in terms of belly fat. matter of fact my stomach has got bigger. so I thought my be it can help
Athleanx app would be very popular.
Question: how can I increase my stamina during strength workouts. I get tired very easily during work outa but I know I haven't come to my breaking point yet. My stamina fails me before my muscle can fail.
i thought you said your muscle tears on the negative part of the rep, so if there is no negative rep i.e. "static push up" then how do you benefit from that
the elongation or the eccentric phase of the movement is where the microtrauma or tears you describe occur, whilst principally responsible for hypertrophy or growth. The concentric phase or positive is responsible for strength increases, however im sure there is still growth in size from the positive phase and there is 100% guarenteed strength benefits to the positive phase as noted with many strongman, hope this helps
In my 36 years of weight training, I can tell you that it has never been so complicated as it is today. Simplicity, basic compound lifts, heavy weights, full-body workouts, 6-12 reps, reasonable volume, muscle failure, 48-72 hour recovery, eating quality food…these things never change…Everything else is superfluous.
I'm in the middle of AX-1, and I wanted to know if I can combine the Wolverine Workout with it. By doing one in the morning and the other in the afternoon or evening, I'm trying to put on mass to move up in weight class for MMA, or should I stick to one? And which one would be better?
Jeff what's your opinion on people like Hershal Walker who does something like a 1000 pushups a day, and at one time Ray Lewis only did a pushup routine daily………are they just freaks of nature or what………just curious on your thoughts, because how is someone like Hershal Walker not overtraining?
jeff can you make a video based on how all celebrity's have got ripped and sort of things they do. ive been looking in to Scott Adkins aka Yuri Boyka from undisputed 1&2 & is in X-men as well as is going to be in The Expendables 2! he has not only got a completely jacked physique, but he is able to do flips, backflips, capoeira, martial arts etc etc. he isnt the only person who can do it of course but it would be nice to see your thoughts on this as id loved to look like him and do what he does!
I NEED HELP!!!! Ive been working out with your techniques for about 4 weeks and i have seen results but my problem is my right bicep is bigger then the left!! I have tried working only on my left but it doesnt really work. How do i fix this???
Jeff, thanks for the vids! Thank you for the time you spend on making these and sharing them. I have been following you for over a year now, and am now a proud member of team Athlean. You're the best!! Keep up the good work! This is life changing shit here!
You don't need much recovery if you are in shape and eat high glycemic food which will boost your muscle recovery by a certain degree by releasing sugar in your body, supplying the muscles and helping them recover.
if u have not tried his program, then your are dumb. Go Jeff, i am on Athlean X for 8 weeks now and could not tell you how best i am in shape since i started your program. Just listen to Jeff and do what he says.
Well, abs recover quicker than forearms and calves IMO, but those 3 muscles are the most resilient from workouts, as quoted from one of Jeff's videos 😛
your abs as an individual are very small muscles. just look at one ab.not very big, so it doesnt need as much time to recover. not only that though, your abs not grow much, they just show more at a low bodyfat percentage
hey Jeff, I am a big fan of what you do and try to train and help people better themselves just like you. I wanted to ask you if you can do 1 handed push ups and would you be willing to tell me what i should to to be able to do it? I tried tightening my core and making my arms really strong but still no luck.
I'm from Venezuela, but not really understand what you explain, I see the exercises but I imagine that you are giving an explanation of how to exercise and that part of the body works: S
hes said in another video that the abs are like the forearms. We use them all day and they are used to being active all the time. so we have to train them to failure.
People who r 12 always comment will it work for me I'm 12 I don't ask about it I'm about to watch vid and try it and if it doesn't work it doesn't work if it does work then yeay I've instantly became a babe magnet
see people that believe that you cannot build muscle in different ways need to see this…I've been trying to explain this to so many people. Jeff is the dude that finally explains it with science so people cannot debunk it as a myth. Thank you!

Jeff, sometimes I swear you just make these videos in order to show off your ability! lol.
The million dollar question. What do you recommend when working through a shoulder injury? I love push ups but it's a challenge when the shoulder hurts.
jeff is making all KIIINDS of GAINS!!..
Jeff you're The Man!
TMW!! LOL
Maybe You have to build More muscle around the shoulder so it can be stronger.. when i dislocated my shoulder i lost alot of strength but once you build it up youll be good again
Jeff I love AX2 But You Forgot the ABS WASSUP WITH THE ABS I need to make ALL KINDS OF GAINS in my midsection!
Yeah! XD
Great vid
Hey guys whats the machine behind him in the beginning of the video called?
lipo 6 black or Hydroxy cut? which one is better?

How come my order is getting declined every time I submit my order?
nice video and very good info. helpful
it's finally great to be a part of athlean!!
You probably get asked this loads of times, but how old are you? Just for motivational purpose of course…
hes 16
6 people hate working out!
haha no prob.. sorry for sounding mean
they will both do nothing for you if you don't have solid nutrition and solid understanding of nutrition. Knowledge and intensity are the best fat burners
Nice to have you back Jeff.
well, I have been training for the last three months straight and yet I have not seen any change in terms of belly fat. matter of fact my stomach has got bigger. so I thought my be it can help
You should start investing in creating an athleanX app. Something worth thinking about.
Athleanx app would be very popular.

When I saw the video thumbnail, I thought Jeff was wearing a shirt for once. Good video!
he already has one. it's in apple app store
i thought you said your muscle tears on the negative part of the rep, so if there is no negative rep i.e. "static push up" then how do you benefit from that
Good video, good info. Thanks!

Ah, now that he's rehabilitated he knows better than to try wearing a shirt. I get it now.
dont get all butt hurt

I think you just made this sound way more complicated then what it really is
I use a backpack and put in about 15 pounds
pretty sure he takes more than that . he reccomends omega three's, creatine mono, protein bars etc.. all things he dosen't make himself
jeff how can we build upper chest at home ??
TEAM HODGE TWINS & TEAM ATHLEAN ALL DAY!!!!
Jeff, I just started the Athlean-x program. I retired, last year, and figured it was time to get back in shape. Thanks!
Bro, I just listen to there advice/ opinions and then do whatever the f*** I want to do.
Fact.
Jeff, you don't even have to complete the phrase, "If you want to look like an athlete…" i think we all know by now haha!
jeff can you make a video based on how all celebrity's have got ripped and sort of things they do. ive been looking in to Scott Adkins aka Yuri Boyka from undisputed 1&2 & is in X-men as well as is going to be in The Expendables 2! he has not only got a completely jacked physique, but he is able to do flips, backflips, capoeira, martial arts etc etc. he isnt the only person who can do it of course but it would be nice to see your thoughts on this as id loved to look like him and do what he does!

Thumbs up if you like to see a Tom Hardy inspired/ Dark Knight Rises trap workout? 😀
i already know all this.

Thats great Mr. Smartie Pants! im so proud!
he just did clapping pushups with 40 pounds on him
This is correct, you should NOT train your abs every day.
Thanks for letting us know!
You don't need much recovery if you are in shape and eat high glycemic food which will boost your muscle recovery by a certain degree by releasing sugar in your body, supplying the muscles and helping them recover.
abs are a thin sheet of muscle compared to all our other big muscle groups abs recover super fast.
aahaha he said we'll see all kinds of gains
if u have not tried his program, then your are dumb. Go Jeff, i am on Athlean X for 8 weeks now and could not tell you how best i am in shape since i started your program. Just listen to Jeff and do what he says.
Abs, forearms, and calves recover quickly

Love the video's – Thanks for another great post!

I have a question, what happens after you've completed your 90 day training? Do you do it again?
jesus u know what ur talking bout. did the same progression for pushups
yes, if they actually hurt but when you dont feel it you can keep going, its big and strong muscle, plus work your back to get the full benefit
Core is the only muscle you cant ''over-do'' but since your muscles work in pairs you can strain your back.
if i do push ups with a 4-2-2 tempo would it help give me more chest muscle mass?
Abs are just like any muscle, they do need to recover. After a workout, rest them untill they stop feeling sore
hey Jeff, I am a big fan of what you do and try to train and help people better themselves just like you. I wanted to ask you if you can do 1 handed push ups and would you be willing to tell me what i should to to be able to do it? can you do push ups every day? how often if not?
to answer your question mr , i do push ups every single day and I was never injured ,but i don't recommand it without warming up !
your abs are a unique muscle they can recover very quickly
How's this compare to resistance bands etc?
yea

People who r 12 always comment will it work for me I'm 12 I don't ask about it I'm about to watch vid and try it and if it doesn't work it doesn't work if it does work then yeay I've instantly became a babe magnet

your vids are just awesome!
see people that believe that you cannot build muscle in different ways need to see this…I've been trying to explain this to so many people. Jeff is the dude that finally explains it with science so people cannot debunk it as a myth. Thank you!
I saw these clips in the old intro but I thought he was wearing a tank top, not a weighted vest
