Easy Lemon Garlic Baked Chicken Breast Recipe – How to Bake Chicken Breasts

and welcome to our kitchen. We’re making our Lemon Garlic Baked Chicken
Breasts. For the tastiest chicken breast, marinate. Here we’re making our favorite lemon garlic
marinade. Start by peeling or zesting the thin yellow
skin from a lemon and add it to a bowl large enough to fit the chicken. To the lemon zest, add the juice of a lemon
making sure to keep out the seeds Olive oil, tangy Dijon mustard, salt, crushed
red pepper flakes for some heat and a generous amount of fresh ground black pepper. Remember all the ingredient amounts are shared
in our recipe on InspiredTaste.net Now for the garlic. There is no need to mince it. Simply crushing the garlic is enough. Then for some freshness. Add a handful of herbs. Here we are using Parsley but other tender
herbs like basil or cilantro would also work. Give the marinade a good mix then add the
chicken and toss it around until well coated. Marinate for at least an hour in the refrigerator. When you are ready to bake the chicken,
lightly oil a large baking dish as well as some parchment paper. This will cover the chicken as it bakes. You can also use foil. Cut another lemon into wedges, remove seeds,
then grab the marinated chicken. Arrange the chicken in the baking dish then
pour the remaining marinade over the chicken leaving out the large bits of garlic and zest. Lightly season with salt and pepper. Scatter the lemon wedges around the dish and
cover with the parchment. Place it oil side down and loosely tuck it
around the chicken. This helps to keep it juicy. Bake until the chicken is opaque all the way
through and an internal thermometer reads 165 degrees F when inserted into the thickest
part. Let chicken rest about 10 minutes then serve
